Climb astride your broomsticks and get ready to play an exciting game of Pinball Quidditch™, the latest model in the Harry Potter™ collection from Ugears. This working pinball machine is based on the fictional game of Quidditch™, from the beloved Harry Potter book and film series, in which players fly around an aerial arena as they attempt to throw or hit the Quaffle through three hoops on the side of the pitch of their opponents, getting ten points every time they succeed. The team that catches the Golden Snitch scores 150 points and wins the game. To prepare the Ugears Flipper Quidditch™ game, you must first ensure that the model is assembled correctly and that all moving parts work properly. Place the model on a flat surface, then recover the yellow ball (Snitch) from the chest and place it in its reserved place on the left guide. Insert the three red balls (Quaffles) into the hole on the left front of the model. Raise the three targets in the center of the field by pressing on the two bumpers and the launch pad immediately behind the targets. Turn the dial on the back of the board to set it to three zeros and you're ready to play! To play, press the "New Game" sign on the front of the model, bringing the three Quaffles towards the trigger. Press the ball lift lever on the front right to raise the first Quaffle to the starting position, then pull back on the side trigger and release it sharply, launching the ball onto the playing field. Place your hands on the flipper buttons located on the left and right sides of the game, pressing them to keep each ball in play for as long as possible. Shoot down the three targets to create a clear path to the rings, defended by a guardian (Ron Weasley) and two beaters (the Weasley twins, Fred and George). Each time a Quaffle passes through a ring on the opposite side of the field, ten points are scored (press the button at the top right of the board to keep track of the points) and the Quaffle returns to be sent back into play. Defend your three rings by preventing the Quaffles from getting past your fins, otherwise they will leave the game. Once all three Quaffles have passed their rings, the game is over. The biggest challenge in the game, and the surest way to win, is to catch the Snitch. This is done by pushing a Quaffle onto the rails, launching it from the inclined central ramp (the ramp lifts into place once the central target is hit). If a Quaffle lands on the right rail it will be brought back into play, while a Quaffle landing on the left rail will drop down to release the Snitch into Harry Potter™'s arms. Congratulations, you won! Press the button at the top left of the board to make a banner appear awarding 150 points and proclaiming you the winner! This simple yet elegant Ugears watch is powered by gravity pulling down a weighted bag (you can fill the bag with sand or salt). You will have to lift the bag on its pulleys to wind the watch. As the weight slowly drops, it rotates a drive gear, which then rotates an escape wheel through a gearbox. The watch features an adjustable weighted pendulum that interacts with the escape wheel through the constant ticking of the anchor mechanism. You can adjust the ticking of the clock per second by sliding the upper and lower weights of the pendulum. The gearbox also transmits rotation to an hour disc and a minute disc. One of the interesting features of our Aero Clock is that the time is not read with rotating hands on a dial, but rather a fixed pointer indicates the time on slowly rotating numbered hour and minute discs. Furthermore, these disks rotate counterclockwise: did you know that before standardization some clocks moved clockwise while others moved counterclockwise? Inspired by the Granville brothers' Gee Bee Model R-1 Super Sportster and other vintage racing aircraft of the 1930s, the Mad Hornet aircraft has a massive teardrop-shaped fuselage and a cockpit positioned far aft, to give the pilot has better visibility for tight turns around the pylons of the competition fields. The 1920s and 1930s were the "Golden Age of Flight". Aircraft design evolved from canvas and wood biplanes to metal monoplanes, and increasingly powerful engines opened up new possibilities for military and civilian use. Air competitions, such as those depicted in the popular "Rocketeer" comics, became a spectator sport. The Gee Bee R-1 won the Thompson Trophy (one of the most prestigious U.S. air races) in 1932, flown by Jimmy Doolittle, who would later win the Medal of Honor for leading a daring bombing raid on Japan after Pearl Harbor. With a top speed of 294 miles per hour, the R-1 outpaced all but one of its competitors in the 1932 race because it was able to stay high on the course thanks to its excellent high-speed maneuverability. The Ugears Windmill is much more than a mechanical model. It is an exciting adventure into the history of old England designed in the "Victorian steampunk skeleton" style. The model is based on the Chesterton Windmill, a 17th century cylindrical stone tower mill that was built outside the village of Chesterton, in the county of Warwickshire. When spinning rapidly, the aerodynamic blades create quite strong wind. It can also work in reverse: blowing air towards the blades will make them rotate. Use a fan to demonstrate to your children how real windmills work. A double planetary gearbox with differently shaped gears provides the necessary speed. The model is powered by a removable rubber band motor. Once the motor is removed, the windmill can operate in a manual mode which allows you to observe and examine the fascinating complex mechanism in detail. The rubber band motor drives the sails via a screw conveyor (worm feeder) and a gear drive. The gear drive design includes a flexible, chain-type link made up of many small links. The actual plywood chain drive had never been used in Ugears models before. Similar to a spiral staircase, the rotating base of the arched tower is a part of the screw transport mechanism, which is a key element of the model's mechanism. While taking inspiration from the English prototype, Ugears also references the Spanish classic: the Windmill kit comes with figures of the ingenious nobleman Don Quixote and his eccentric companion Sancho Panza.

The multi-level lift has three main tracks. The first features a trap in which three marbles must work together to escape. A trigger mechanism just before the return track can send the marbles back to the tiered winch, to an adjacent ball track, or switch between them (you set your preference with a latch). Connect up to four lanes of marbles to form an incredible and complex system of interconnected elements, all powered by a single crank. It's as if the marbles have been loosened for a fun day at a miniature amusement park! The Spiral Slide Marble Run is the fourth model in the Ugears collection of fascinating DIY wooden mechanical runs. The winch has two types of rails to speed up the climb: the main spiral rails and the vertical rails. Rotate the crank to lift the colored glass marbles upward (one marble rises every nine turns of the winding crank) to the cubbyhole three marbles above. From there the marbles begin their descents through thrilling elements: a high-speed slide, a vertical snake and a mountain river. Our team of designers created this track and our other three marble runs (Chain Lift, Step Hoist and Multilevel Hoist) as great stand-alone models, but also as modular elements capable of being linked together into a super track for marbles!
