Model kit CR.32 Freccia N° 1438 1:72

CR.32 Freccia SUPER DECAL model kit FOR 5 VERSIONS - COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET PILOT NOT INCLUDED Designed in the first part of the 1930s by the famous engineer Rosatelli, the Fiat CR 32 was powered by a 600cc 12-cylinder V engine CV which allowed it to reach 375 km/h. Among the most famous biplanes in the history of aviation, it was characterized by extraordinary maneuverability. It was also robust and well armed for the historical period thanks to the two 12.7 mm Breda-Safat machine guns. which fired through the propeller disc. The Fiat CR 32 had its baptism of fire with the Legionary Aviation, during the Spanish Civil War, and immediately prevailed over Soviet-made monoplane fighters such as the Polikarpov I-16 which equipped the republican air force units. Thanks to the extraordinary maneuverability and the training of the Italian pilots, the CR 32 also prevailed over aircraft with a more modern and current concept. Even the fast, for those years, Soviet-made bomber Tupolev SB-2, considered uninterceptable thanks to its speed, suffered numerous losses during aerial clashes with the "Chirri" of the Legionary Aviation. FIAT BR.20 CICOGNA ITALERI 1:72 1447 SUPER DECAL FOR 5 VERSIONS - COLOR INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINS ONE MODEL - FIGURES NOT INCLUDED The BR 20 “Cicogna” low-wing medium bomber was developed by the Italian company Fiat during the 1930s. It entered service in 1936 and was characterized by its metal structure and retractable landing gear. Modern and fast for its time, it was used by the Legionary Aviation and had its baptism of fire in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War. During the Second World War it equipped various bombing units of the Regia Aeronautica. In September 1940 the Italian Air Corps was formed, composed of the 13th and 43rd Bombardment Wing equipped with the twin-engine Fiat. The air units were deployed in Belgium and took part, supporting the German Luftwaffe, in the Battle of Britain. Operational use and comparison with modern RAF fighters quickly highlighted its limitations. However, it was employed by the Regia Aeronautica, on various fronts, for the entire duration of the war.
